The section of the site known as ‘What Happened Today in Church History,’ which is part of the Church History Institute section of particularbaptist.com has now been completely updated and is fully functional online. Many hours have been spent getting this work completed and I am very thankful it is again up and running.

I’m back at it again today and have now started on the ‘What Happened Today in Church History?’ section of the site, which is part of the Church History Institute. I will be starting with April and then cycling my way through the year from there.

I have been making good progress on The Book Room (library) at particularbaptist.com – more than I would have expected to this point. Be sure to keep looking around – it is being improved, reviewed and updated on a very regular basis.

A lot of work has been completed on ‘The Book Room,’ which is the online library of particularbaptist.com. Most of the infrastructure (the actual web pages) is once again in place. A good number of the pages have had all of the links checked (dates for latest link checking are at the top of the page) and on these pages they all work, with the exception of those resources hosted at particularbaptist.com – these will require a good amount of work to make ready for the site.
Some of the pages that are up (a good number in fact) have yet to have the various links checked or to have the actual page reviewed and/or updated. I thought it would be useful to have the actual pages up regardless, as some of the resources linked to will still be valuable and actually available – even though that will not be the case for all of them. At least the library is finally working again and will continue to improve over time.
I have plans to greatly improve the usefulness of the library, but again, this will be a painstaking and possibly slow process.
Most of the site is now up and working again, though undoubtedly not all of the links are working yet. More content needs to be review and/or updated before becoming available again on the site. I am working on it though. Hopefully there will also be much more new content coming online as well. I’ll continue to work on the site over this holiday weekend and beyond.

The area of the site that will take the most work to update has now been reached. ‘The Book Room,’ which is the library page at particularbaptist.com, is a library of both links to resources around the World Wide Web and online content hosted on our site. I have a lot of work to do to get this valuable resource pool back online and available to our visitors.
I’m not sure when I will have all of this content back online, though I expect the infrastructure of the library will be in place by the end of this weekend. Content hosted at particularbaptist.com will be linked to, though may not be immediately available – as each resource will require considerable work to make it available again. Previously these works were available in HTML – I now hope to have them available in PDF.

The theology section of the site has now been updated, with the exception of ‘The Book Room – Theology Page,’ which is really part of the library section of the site, linked to from the theology page. The library section is my next project and this begins now.

The updates to the site are continuing and now the Bible Studies section has been completed. Of course the Bible Studies themselves are hosted at Scribd, which provides a much easier way for me to update and add to them over time.
The sermons section has also been completed.

I have been able to make more updates to the website – right across the site in fact. There have been a number of changes to various pages, some of which may not even be very noticeable to visitors. Others are very noticeable, including updates to the sermons section of the site.
I am currently working my way through the sermons on John – the rest have been updated.
