The area of the site that will take the most work to update has now been reached. ‘The Book Room,’ which is the library page at particularbaptist.com, is a library of both links to resources around the World Wide Web and online content hosted on our site. I have a lot of work to do to get this valuable resource pool back online and available to our visitors.
I’m not sure when I will have all of this content back online, though I expect the infrastructure of the library will be in place by the end of this weekend. Content hosted at particularbaptist.com will be linked to, though may not be immediately available – as each resource will require considerable work to make it available again. Previously these works were available in HTML – I now hope to have them available in PDF.
After a lot of work I have the main page of ‘The Book Room’ up and functional at particularbaptist.com. It has taken me two years to get this back up (it used to be simply the library) at least. Not all of the links are working in the directories, but I wanted the links ready to go as the various pages came back online.
With various hardware upgrades over the last few months (due to ‘dying’ hardware) I am now able to get back to work on updating, maintaining and growing the website. I am very thankful for being able to do so once again. There should be regular work on the site now – Lord willing.
Tonight I have been able to add some further updates to the Thomas Crosby book on the English Baptists. This includes adding a further 6 pages to the text now available online at:
I have been uploaded the latest updates on a book I am loading to the particularbaptist.com library site. The book is ‘The History of the English Baptists, from the Reformation to the Beginning of the Reign of King George I – Volume 1,’ by Thomas Crosby.
